Hace unas semanas os anunciamos a través de nuestro Twitter que podíais lanzar algunas preguntas a los chicos de IMFACT con motivo de su concierto en Madrid en el mes de abril.
Gracias a Kanzen Music, la promotora que los trae a nuestro país, hemos podido poner en contacto de cierta forma al grupo y a sus seguidores, respondiendo así a las preguntas de las IF’s españolas.

Jian: Hello, I’m the leader of Imfact – Jian.
Taeho: Hello, I’m IMFACT’s Taeho.
Leesang: Hello, I’m IMFACT’s Leesang.
Ungjae: Hello, I’m IMFACT’s Ungjae.
Jeup: Hello, I’m IMFACT’s Jeup.
At first, we are going to talk about them; their songs, their future goals…
Q: What inspires you the most when writing a song?
Ungjae: I think we can take inspiration from different places. You can take it from walking on the street and seeing a beautiful flower, and just from daily life routine and other things.
Q: What expectations do you have of your future? What do you want to achieve?
Leesang: We’re really happy that we got the opportunity to perform overseas, and since our dream was to travel the world and show our music to as many people as possible, our goal is to become a group that gets to perform at even more places and that keeps sharing our music.
Q: How many hours do you practice a day?
Taeho: Actually, there are separate things each member wants to rehearse for, so we rehearse by ourselves a lot, but we also train hard together till our performances come out perfectly for our IFs and other people.
Leesang: It doesn’t matter how much time it takes, we will train diligently till our stages look complete.
Q: What motivates you to dedicate yourself while being a K-POP artist?
Ungjae: Firstly, the biggest motivation is the fans. When we see our fans, we become passionate about wanting to release better music and come up with better stages. Also, when we’re performing, we want to come with an image that the fans would like. That’s when the thought of wanting to work even harder comes up.
Q: How was like during your trainee days? How did you feel when you finally debuted?
Jian: If you ask about the trainee period, every artist will answer that it was difficult, sad, and filled with hunger. For our debut, we managed to overcome our sorrow and hardships and we were very happy that we could leave those behind. The debut made us really happy, and the thrilling moments from our debut are still present with us till these days.
Q: What kept you motivated whenever you were going through bad times?
Leesang: I have to say again, it’s the fans. Whenever it felt hard and we were exhausted, we received supportive letters from the fans or just encouraging words, so this was a reason for us to work harder and go forward.
Q: Which song do you like to perform most on stage?
Leesang: Shall we talk about a couple of songs?
Ungjae: Ummm… yes, let’s talk like this.
Jian: Well, when we finish the stage, there’s the encore song. We had “Tension Up” as our encore song for a long time. Although we have a lot of good songs, during “Tension Up” we can jump together so the feelings overwhelm us as the concert is coming to an end. So for me personally, when we perform that song at encore, the vibe is very good. What about you guys?
Leesang: In my case, we do like and treasure all of our songs, but I especially like “Mirrorz” since the lyrics have a hopeful message and I think the song overall gives you a lot of strength. Although it’s our song, when I feel bad I listen to this song and gain strength, so I hope you’d listen to this song at least once.
Ungjae: While we perform and just have concerts overall we show our cool side, and when we sing we want to show you a good side of ours. I think the feeling of the song “She Is” comes out well when we perform it on stage.
One of the cities of IMFACT’s European Tour is Madrid, so your Spanish fans wants to know:
Q: What do you know about Spain? (any typical dish, singers/actors, movies, songs)
Jian: I’ve done my research, and in Spain there’s a type of ham which is really popular called Jamon. Also the wine is famous in Spain, so wouldn’t it be great if we could try it after the concert?
Leesang: I’m curious of what it tastes like.
Taeho: Also the song “Despacito”.
Jian: Yes, latin music.
Taeho: This song got first place on the Billboard charts because it’s so famous, so I’d like to listen to some more music.
Q: What do you find interesting about Spain?
Leesang: If we talk about Spain, soccer is really famous. It’s the same for me and Ungjae, since we’re interested in soccer; we would watch soccer games from the Spain League on a daily basis even if we’re in Korea. I also like the players who are currently playing for Spain, so yeah, soccer is something I’ve been interested in.
Q: Will you be able to come in Spain for the fans that won’t be able to see you right now?
Ungjae: First of all, I think we’d like to go everywhere in Spain where our fans are. But since this is going to be our first performance is Spain, and because we intend to show a lot of our sides, I hope a lot of fans will come to see us and spend an enjoyable time.
Jian: That’s right.
Jian: So we’re going to Spain, right? To be honest, it’s our first time going there so we’re very nervous about that and we don’t know how we’re going to be received. Also we have a lot of thoughts about how much will you like our performances. We believe you will enjoy all of it so we hope a lot of you will come to the concert and have a fun time together. Until now, it’s been IMFACT!

Para empezar, vamos a hablar un poco sobre ellos; sus canciones, sus metas…
P: ¿Qué te inspira más cuando escribes una canción?
Ungjae: Creo que podemos inspirarnos en diferentes lugares. Caminando por la calle y viendo una hermosa flor, a través de la rutina diaria y otras cosas.
P: ¿Qué expectativas tenéis en vuestro futuro? ¿Qué queréis lograr?
Leesang: Estamos muy contentos de tener la oportunidad de actuar en el extranjero, y dado que nuestro sueño era viajar por el mundo y mostrar nuestra música a la mayor cantidad de personas posible, nuestro objetivo es convertirnos en un grupo que se actúe en más lugares y que podamos seguir compartiendo nuestra música.
P: ¿Cuántas horas practicáis al día?
Taeho: En realidad, hay cosas separadas por las que cada miembro quiere ensayar, así que ensayamos mucho nosotros mismos, pero también entrenamos mucho juntos hasta que nuestras actuaciones resulten perfectas para nuestros IF’s y otras personas.
Leesang: No importa cuánto tiempo lleve, nos entrenaremos con diligencia hasta que nuestras actuaciones se vean completas.
P: ¿Qué os motivó a ser artistas de K-Pop?
Ungjae: En primer lugar, la mayor motivación son los seguidores. Cuando vemos a nuestros fans, nos apasiona querer lanzar mejor música y crear mejores actuaciones. Además, cuando estemos actuando, queremos venir con una imagen que les guste, ahí es cuando surge la idea de querer trabajar aún más duro.
P: ¿Cómo fue durante vuestros días de trainees? ¿Cómo os sentisteis cuando finalmente debutasteis?
Jian: Si preguntas sobre el período de entrenamiento, cada artista responderá que fue difícil, triste y con ansias de debutar. Para nuestro debut, logramos superar nuestro dolor y dificultades y nos sentimos muy felices de haber podido dejarlos atrás. El debut nos hizo muy felices, y los momentos emocionantes de nuestro debut todavía están presentes con nosotros hasta estos días.
P: ¿Qué os mantuvo motivados cuando pasabais por momentos difíciles?
Leesang: Tengo que decirlo de nuevo, son los seguidores. Cada vez que se nos hacía duro y estábamos agotados, recibíamos cartas de apoyo de los fans o solo palabras de aliento, así que esta fue una razón para que trabajemos más duro y sigamos adelante.
P: ¿Qué canción os gusta interpretar más en el escenario?
Leesang: ¿Hablamos de un par de canciones?
Ungjae: Ummm… sí, hablemos así.
Jian: Bueno, cuando terminemos el concierto, está la canción encore. Tuvimos «Tension Up» como nuestra canción encore durante mucho tiempo. Aunque tenemos muchas buenas canciones, durante «Tension Up» podemos saltar juntos, así que los sentimientos nos abruman cuando el concierto llega a su fin. Así que para mí, personalmente, cuando tocamos esa canción en encore, el ambiente es muy bueno. ¿Qué hay de vosotros?
Leesang: En mi caso, nos gustan y atesoramos todas nuestras canciones, pero especialmente me gusta «Mirrorz» ya que las letras tienen un mensaje esperanzador y creo que la canción en general te da mucha fuerza. Aunque es nuestra canción, cuando me siento mal la escucho y gano fuerza, así que espero que escuchen esta canción al menos una vez.
Ungjae: Mientras actuamos y solo tenemos conciertos en general, mostramos nuestro lado genial, y cuando cantamos queremos mostrarte nuestro lado bueno. Creo que la sensación de la canción «She Is» sale bien cuando la tocamos en el escenario.
Una de las ciudades en vuestro Tour Europeo es Madrid, así que vuestras seguidoras españolas quieren saber:
P: ¿Qué sabes de España? (cualquier plato típico, cantantes / actores, películas, canciones…)
Jian: He hecho mi investigación y en España hay un tipo de jamón que es realmente popular llamado Jamón. Además, el vino es famoso en España, ¿no sería genial si pudiéramos probarlo después del concierto?
Leesang: Tengo curiosidad por saber a qué sabe.
Taeho: También la canción «Despacito».
Jian: Sí, música latina.
Taeho: Esta canción obtuvo el primer lugar en las listas de Billboard porque es muy famosa, así que me gustaría escuchar más música.
P: ¿Qué te parece interesante de España?
Leesang: Si hablamos de España, el fútbol es realmente famoso. Es lo mismo para Ungjae y para mí, ya que estamos interesados en el fútbol; veríamos partidos de fútbol de la Liga de España a diario, incluso si estamos en Corea. También me gustan los jugadores que juegan actualmente en España, así que sí, el fútbol es algo que me ha interesado.
P: ¿Podréis venir a España para los fans que no podrán veros en este concierto?
Ungjae: En primer lugar, creo que nos gustaría ir a cualquier lugar de España donde se encuentren nuestros seguidores, pero como esta será nuestra primera actuación en España, y porque tenemos la intención de mostrar muchos de nuestras habilidades, espero que muchos IF’s vengan a vernos y pasen un rato agradable.
Jian: Eso es.
Jian: Así que vamos a España, ¿verdad? Para ser honesto, es la primera vez que vamos allí, así que estamos muy nerviosos por eso y no sabemos cómo nos van a recibir. También tenemos muchos pensamientos acerca de cuánto le gustarán nuestras actuaciones. Creemos que lo disfrutarán todo, así que esperamos que muchos de vosotros asistáis al concierto y os divirtáis juntos. Hasta ahora, ha sido IMFACT!
